Be A Stamford!

Be A Stamford! Become a Stamford. Every member is encouraged to introduce someone else to Holmes, just as Stamford did Dr Watson, low those many years ago. Those who provide at least two genuine referrals will have their names placed on a certificate of honour. All members sponsoring at least one new member will receive a personal certificate – so everyone can do something. To win, you must be the one to bring the most members to our little group by the 199th meeting – July 2005. Our winner will be honoured with a certificate, plaque, and special gift at the 200th meeting of the Harpooners in August. (You must sign up paid members, not just referrals or prospectives to qualify to win.) Be a disciple for Holmes, BE A STAMFORD! So far, we have two new members, the Rileys, but they were referred by a teacher at our junior college and joined on their own. Come on – let’s beat the bushes for Holmes.

Litter Patrol Alert

An important reminder. We will once again be picking up trash along our stretch of the Hwy 70 on the first and the last Saturdays of April! Be ready to help if you can.
